How was BFB started?
February 1981 was the turning point for six musicians. Gathered
together by
Jim Weber as a vision to create a better than normal Oktoberfest/Polka
band

Foxtrot, Samba,
Mambo, Oberek, Salsa, Merengue, Two-step, Twist, Cajun, Zydeco,
& 60 years of Rock, Country Music, Jazz
Where does BFB call home?
Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario Canada is the home base for BFB. Just
60
miles West of Toronto, KW is best known as the Home of North Americas
largest Oktoberfest outside of Munich Germany. Known as well for their
first class universities; Wilfred Laurier and University of Waterloo.

A strong music scene and is very supportive of BFB.
Does the band play requests?
Yes BFB is always glad to receive requests from the audience, and
almost always plays them.
(Though BFB can’t guarantee it will be at the show you are attending
- LOL) We try.
